My experience from Youth Leadership Hamblen County was extremely beneficial to me. I was able to meet many different people in leadership roles in Hamblen County and also in Knoxville as well. This was beneficial to me because I was able to hear how they lead and serve their community and also how they see a good leader. I also enjoyed many of the places we were able to visit such as Oak Ridge National Lab and Morristown Utilities where I learned about some things that I did not know before. Finally, the business etiquette session was beneficial to me because I have to go to a formal dinner at some point in my career. I enjoyed Youth Leadership and would recommend it to any rising junior at either high school.

In his senior year, Brady was also the recipient of several scholarships: Energizing Prosperity - STEM, and the Tuff Torq Yamaoka Scholarship.
